Fishing Adventures

favorite outdoor place

Recently over at the Outdoor Blogger Network, they did a outdoor photo prompt where you choose your favorite outdoor place (landscapes!). I gave it some thought and two places came to mind immediately, Lake Selmac and Applegate Lake. I know both of those lakes pretty well and still want to fish them more. But my choice is a place iv only been to once, you cant fish there because the water is way too hot. But a world class river lays 200 feet below it. Im talking about the North Umpqua Hot Springs. Days like yesterday and today when my local river is blown out makes me wish i lived closer to the hot springs. Sitting in those tubs last May was one of the most relaxing and peaceful times iv ever had.

  1. Sometimes, when you’re out there fishing and it’s so cold your hands hurt as the warm, it would be nice to have a warm spring to dip them in and warm them up. Nice picture.

As a side note, I have three different colors of Rapala’s in two sizes. Rainbow Trout, Brown, and Firetiger. Some are floaters and some are sinkers. None are larger than the F-11.
